N2  - This is the story of the life and times of Bishop of Eldoret, Alexander Kipsang Muge, an Anglican bishop who preached against the practice of tribalism as found in the church hierarchy as well as the government. Born into the Kamelilo clan of Kalenjin tribe, reknown internationally for its athletic prowess as the running tribe, he refused to succumb to the expected initiation patterns of the clan. After his becoming a Christian, he directed some of his most vitriolic attacks on tribalism in the government of fellow Kalenjin president Daniel Arap Moi and the president’s powerful Kalenjin inner circle.
