This guidance manual was developed to support the use of integrated assessment as an instrument for mainstreaming sustainability into policymaking processes and to facilitate integrated policymaking for sustainable development. It draws on international experiences and highlights the connections between proposed policies and desired results such as job creation, income generation, trade promotion, environmental sustainability and poverty reduction.
