Summary: This is the third of a series of animated films produce by UNICEF in Eastern and Southern Africa on the adventures of Sara, an adolescent girl who is gradually emerging as a heroine for adolescents, and a role model for girls' as well as boys' empowerment in Africa This story focuses on the issues of harmful traditional practices, specially female circumcision. Sara i targeted to be circumcised but manages to mobilize the community against the practice. The story is full of action and suspense. It can be widely used by development workers to create awareness and behavior change against FGM and other harmful practices and to educate people on children's and human rights
