This is the story of Uhuru Kenyatta’s race for state house that will be determined on March 4th 2013 when Kenyans go to the polls to elect a new president, a deputy president, and members of the senate, the National Assembly and the County Assemblies. It traces Odinga’s place in Kenyan politics since the controversial December 2007 general election that resulted in violence in several parts of the country leaving more than 1,000 Kenyans dead and half a million others homeless.
